I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get Firefox to direct type-in results to the actual page. I can't remember when it happened, but a while ago all of the sudden all address bar type-in results switched to either Yahoo! or my ISP's results page depending on the key phrase. It used to be I would type in say "Yaro" and it would take me to entrepreneurs-journey.com, now it takes me to the Yahoo! results. How do I get Firefox to take me directly to address bar type-ins? I hope I'm making sense, any help would be appreciated. EDIT: Nevermind guys, figured it out, here is the info if anyone needs it; http://www.rakshitk.com/blog/2008/05/13/how-to-configure-firefox-address-bar-with-search-engines/
My Father used to tell me; "If you have nothing good, productive or helpful to say, then don't say nothing at all." Marinate on that one the next time you respond to a post, you should know better considering you post count, etc. Carry on. And, no, it's not because I'm lazy. I'm researching type-in traffic.
lol, your taking my post too seriously here. I'm just sarky, live with it. If everyone followed what your father used to say then the world would be a much quieter place. But back to the original topic. Don't get me wrong here, typing google.com into your browser everytime you search would be annoying, but if it's got to be done then it's not much of a hassle. Most people don't have to go to google.com anymore unless your using a really old version of a browser as a google search box is in most browsers anyway -- Opera and FF do, not sure if IE does or not --, if a browser doesn't have it then just download the google toolbar and it appears ).
I'm researching type-in traffic. Not just casually surfing, so I needed the address bar to work properly.
