Help finding where to turn off commenting in wp admin panel?

    an anyone tell me where in the admin panel do enable commenting permanently? for this blog http://blogurple.com --- it is a wp blog hosted on my server

    you can find options for comments under setting tab-->discussion.

    As Atnews says under the discussions tab you can tick a box that will allow you to turn off comments.

    When you are writing posts too you can choose to allow comments or not in the publish section (top right) of the control panel

    atnews --- thank you for the information I did find what I was looking for other discussions in the WordPress administration panel. WordPress is very diverse meaning the administration panel background hides different profiles within the panel ---- sometimes locating the settings become frustrating for those of us that use WordPress blogs...............................
