Use Time New Romans or Franklin Gothic Demi but give give space between the character by using in MS word
Formant -- Font -- Character Space -- Select at least 2 point, Then the results will be as you required.

That typeface is neither Times New or Franklin Gothic (not even close to that one).

The spaces between the letters is indeed called 'latterspacing' which is very wide in this case, but you cannot possibly have any professional level of typographic control in a wordprocessor like Word. In order to create a professional job you will need Adobe Illustrator or Adobe InDesign.

There are a few great tools out there to help you diagnose what font that is:

    What The Font

    IdentiFont

And failing that, you can always post that in the Type ID board on typophile.com.

Best of luck, and those 'R's look fun don't they!

I'd use Trajan Pro. There are a few differences, but they'd be hard to spot unless checking every minor glyph detail.

well it's certainly not Trajan and doesn't even give off the same feeling.

It's not Goudy Old Style either but that was at least closer than Trajan!

    Interesting, but not true.
You can't say that the style/feeling is not similar:

@GSW: no it is not Bold Trajan. The 'N' is totally different.

@Varelse: the feeling is different, when I see Trajan I think of classicism and sturdy old things. whe I see whatever 'Frontier' is set in I think antiques, american and wooden cabins and lodges.

The porpotions are different, and it's all in the details. Yes they are both Serifs, but that's about where it ends.

In trajan, the 'N' is wide and the 'e' is quite narrow, in the first one they are the opposite. This and many more subtle differences may not be evident to the untrained eye, but I've formally studied typography and these differences scream out at me (and many many more, right down the variances in the weight of the lines that are in the letters and the directions of the serifs)

Please don't make claims unless you know you are correct, they are misleading and not really helping anybody.

You are talking about the details, while I was referring to the feeling (read my post carefully), which - in case of no closer match - was the best to achieve with Trajan.
So please do not make false claims on your account either.

These are your personal opinions, not the facts about these fonts. This is where you get wrong, when putting your subjective thoughts in place of neutral facts.

Please find a closer match before trying to hijack a thread where people are trying to help.

Yes, those are my personal opinions, which is the main reason I denoted my personal opinions by using words such as "when I see" and "I think"......but I'm glad you thought I was too dumb to notice and brought it to my attention that they are just my opinion, I sure wasn't aware when I wrote those words specifically for that purpose.

I have made no false claims here, and what I objected to was thew fact that to me, Trajan and whatever this is give off very different feelings, but the difference between you and me is that I bothered to state why and how so others would understand my reasoning.

I have not hijacked this thread, if you notice above I believe I have been trying to help much before you even wrote your first reply, I gave the names of 2 websites that I use to locate fonts, as well as the link to Typophile.com where many font designers and typographers who create typefaces sit around and chat.

That's far more helpful than claiming it is the closest to Trajan.

If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all.

Well, although it's not Goudy old style, I think the feeling it gives off is certainly closer than that of Trajan.

Which of these looks the best? Guess which one is Goudy Old Style?

your comment didn't make sense, and no, this didn't help me at all, I was trying to help the OP by showing him that it wasn't either Goudy or Trajan, but that Goudy was indeed much closer than Trajan.

There was never any doubt in my mind.

This may actually be a Goudy Old Style ripoff font, but it's none of the professional versions of Goudy Old Style I could find. I would recommend if possible, using a Professional Goudy Old Style font if you want to replicate this feel, and it won't be an exact match, but it will be better than this.
