    Friends,

whenever I visit facebook and click on any link there, a popup appears. The title of the page is 123456789. My status gets updated automatically with weird links. Its some worm that I have not been able to remove.

Look at the stuff that gets posted automatically on my facebook profile.

I have scanned my PC using NOD32 Antivirus, Spybot Search & Destroy, Malwarebytes... but nothing works.

One more thing, this problem happens when I use Firefox browser. When using facebook on Chrome, popups don't appear. But if both Chrome and Firefox are open, and I using facebook on Chrome, popups still appear on firefox.

Can you'all help me solve this problem please?

Get Norton 360 . It's the best choice for disinfecting rotten PC's .

You have the Facebook Toolbar installed on Firefox. When I tried to look at your link, it did the same thing to me. Just uninstall the toolbar or adjust its options and you should be fine.

It's easy. First, open your facebook page in another browser, login and change your password.

I assume you are using a Windows computer, if you do go to the Add/Remove Programs option. Once your are there find that toolbar and remove it. Remove also everything associated with it.

If you do not know the name of the toolbar, Google "Facebook toolbar virus" and see what names they use for those toolbars.

    Hope that helps!!

    Thank you all for help.

I couldn't find the facebook virus toolbar in Add/remove programs list. I couldn't find it in Firefox Add-ons list.

Now there's only one thing to do... Remove firefox and use Chrome only...
