Help eliminate a pop-up

    My website is www.bucich.net

It is something I've done myself and I'm more or less self taught so forgive it if it lacks some polish.

In previewing my index page in a browser while working in Dreamweaver this morning I began receiving "pop-up blocked" warning in Firefox and IE 6.0.

    The pop-up is for http://www.d-m-jewellers.co.uk/
The same pop-up came up on the live site.

I can't find any malicious code causing the pop-up and now after spending the better half of the day on it...it no longer comes up. Not sure what I did to rectify the situation but I am curious if anyone else gets a pop-up on my site.

    Any suggestions? Thanks!

    Rick

I think I figured it out, a reciprocal link and banner I had running at the base of my page had some javascript that seemed to be causing it. I took it out and everything seems fine now.

I suspect that the pop-up would only serve occasionally so I hadn't noticed it until now.

I don't see any popups. You may have have some malware running on your machine, which launch popups. Run some spyware detection tool and until you confirm what's going on, don't connect to your server.

The malicious javacript was from reallyfirst.com. There are ads for DM Jewellers throughout the site.

Thanks! I think the problem is averted. Wish I had known sooner, that banner had been there for awhile.

Sorry, I should've been more specific. I meant to say "don't connect to your site using web-publishing tools, such as FP or FTP because this way the web server may get infected too".
