My blog used to have 4 - 5% CTR with 500 impression, now the impression has doubled yet the CTR is only 2% or 1.5%. I never change the placement at all, any suggestion how to deal with this? And 90% of my visitor is new visitor.

More visitors usually always equals lower CTR. Maybe the 10% are keeping the CTR down. As long as earnings are up... ?

used to? how long does it used to have 4-5% CTR? a few days?

Unless it kept at 4-5% CTR for a month or longer, or it may not be a problem when it drops to 2%.

Sometimes CTR for a single day can soar up to more than 10% when after that things return to normal. Is this the case?

I used to have 4 - 5% ctr for a month, my site is around 40 days old.
Then with increasing impressions my CTR dropped to 1 - 2%. The ads are as targeted as ever. And yes earning was up but CTR keeps dropping like a rock which makes me worried.

Any solution? Perhaps I should makes the ads stands out instead of blending?
My site is a blog with a lot of contents.

Maybe its' because your traffic quality is decreasing..Your ads may be targeted to your content very well, but your traffic may not be so with your content. That would have been the problem.

    hOPE THIS HELP.

Yeah, total's right. Get more traffic and then you'll have some base to optimize. Branching keywords might also do.
