Sorry if this is the wrong forum, but I didn't know where else to post it.

The problem is the Firefox browser, some links don't allow you to right click and download the file. Now some files allows me to open the file first and save it that way, but some don't.

Anyway Firefox used to save it to my desktop by default when I left clicked, but it doesn't anymore. I haven't done anything, but now it just downloads the file to an unknown folder.

I've tried three other browsers, but the button to download doesn't appear. I've looked at the sourcecode for the page, but it appears to be javascript which I guess the other browsers don't recognize.

Anyway my question is where does Firefox download the files to? Or how can I change the default download back to my desktop?

    Thanks

on the Firefox menu, click on Tools, and then choose Options.

When the Options windows popup, you will see the Main tab.

You will see a radio button that says "Save files to".

Browse the folder where you want your download files to be save.
