I'm trying to help a friend of mine do SEO for his website and I need to come up with the best plan of attack. To begin with his url does not contain any of his target keywords. This does not help, but his url is one of a kind and catchy.
I've been noticing allot of people selling high PR backlinks on blogs and manual directory submissions for a good price. But before I buy some backlinks for him I want to create the best possible working links to target his niche. Here is the url to his site.
    http://www.cashflow420.com

Its an e-commerce site that sells rap music. I've come up with the following links for blog submissions, is this correct?

    <a href="http://www.cashflow420.com/">Cashflow420.com</a>

    <a href="http://www.cashflow420.com/store.php">Bay Area Rap Music Store</a>

<a href="http://www.cashflow420.com/albums.php">PhotoFlow Integration Of Rare Out Of Print Bay Area Rap CDs</a>

Here is an example of what I would like to submit to the directories. Am I using enough keywords correctly? Any info would be great!

    URL: http://www.cashflow420.com/

Anchor Text/Title: Bay Area Rap Music Store

Keywords: Bay Area Rap Music Store CDs

Description: Rare out of print bay area rap CDs & tapes! The Cashflow420 online music store is easy to use with excellent service and low prices! We ship worldwide!

    Preferred Category: Music

Yes as Rivers said, come up with a few variations of the anchor text. Always posting the same anchor text will look suspicious to the Search Engines.

I glanced at these real quick and instantly noticed a problem. Your not using any anchor text that people actually search for. I would suggest going to SEObook.com, clicking on the keyword suggestion tool, and than typing in any keywords related to Rap or your local area (if its a local store). This will tell you the amount of searches the keywords receive. I would guess that all the ones your using get less than 5 searches per month so they are not worth optimizing. Find what people are searching for, and help them find your website in the process by using the correct anchor text and that should help you out. If you link using the proper keywords, your rankings in the search engines will increase for those keywords. Once you achieve high rankings, the people searching for those terms will click on your listing (assuming the title of your listing appeals to them).
