Hi All, Please, please could i get some help/advice from you guys. I've been tasked with putting together a marketing strategy to promote a 2-day training day event (specifically for managers and decision makers within the Media industry who want to learn more about strategic thinking). The event is held every May. The target for the event is 25 delegates (ideally from different organisations). I need to: - Outline the planning approach - Outline the promotion/communication ideas - Create a timing plan I've already identified the need for basic elements such as segmenting the contact list, creating an email campaign to promote the new event (with info, call to action), landing page on website, updated website content, some advertising in trade press and some PR. BUT, how about outside of the box ie Facebook, Twitter, SEO, PPC (banners, buttons etc?), Google+ (ie using specific groups)..........Viral?? I'm also having a huge problem working out the timescales!! WHEN would i send out an initial email, or get ADVERTS out??? Please Please help - your advice would be HUGELY appreciated. Cheers Pix
