help : cookie with javascript

    hi all,

    I am using simple show/hide layers for menus, what I want is to use cookie so that if any menu is open it should remain open if a visitor goes to another page, and the open link text should be in BOLD, I tried a couple things, but I cant get it work, here I need your help please..

    Maybe this article quirksmode.org/js/cookies.html will help you. Just insert cookie and every time user reloads page check that cookie and decide how to display
