Help configuring apache SSL certificate on my linux box....

    I have a linux box that I have some things hosted on. I am currently using https, but don't have the certificate configured. So when anyone tries to access the site, they get a certificate warning. This has been fine because firefox can create a certificate, but now it is causing a problem with aproject I am working on.

    So I am not sure if I need to buy a certificate, or if it can be configured to not prompt the user to create on.

    Please PM my your estimate, time to complete, and your IM username. I will add you to my IM and give you access information. I will need your IP address to add you to the access list though.

    I need this done really fast.

    You need to buy legitimate SSL certificate.

    Non-authoritative SSL will always cause firefox or other browser warn user about wrong certificate.

    I am fine with doing that. Do you know how much they are? I think different CA's have different prices.

    So I guess the job request is now for someone to configure my server with a purchased certificate.

    I am being told from a tech that is trying to integrate our systems:
    "We have a problem with the certificate because it has "localhost.localdomain" as name and not the ip address or URL."

    It is a server I have onsite that we access locally, but sometimes access offsite.

    I just purchased a certificate from godaddy, but want to hire someone to configure it for me. Any takers?
