my site, www.ihyperhost.com is made mostly of images, and I have a lot more alts than words, is this bad for seo? What do I do? Is it fine the way it is? Look here: http://gritechnologies.com/tools/diagnostic.go?ihyperhost.com
Good site, just put your main keyword on your title tag. Alt tags are not that bad, but do not stuff keywords on it.
It may be advisable to add some content. Maybe you could offer a short explanation of why and how you can offer free hosting to the world?
Content is really need on this page. Write up a paragraph that explain who what why you are. I would place it where you have "iHyperHost.com believes everyone should be able to get free hosting for their site, and all hosting should be free, paid hosting companies make too much money! " Also, beware of stuffing your alt tags with keywords. I recommended using only about 5 to 7 words in the alts.
Very Nice Design! but your site not looks SEO Friendly... Try to Optimized your Homepage. Put your targeted Keyword on your Title and Description. but I suggest to add more valuable content on your site. Remember "CONTENT IS KING" Good Luck!
Hmmm.... Please don't take this with anything other than honest feedback. The site can be spotted a mile a way as a template that you just spent $61 for at Monster Templates. This whole forum is such a great forum because of some of the things I've read in here. I can't say it more clearly or loudly. Content...Content....Content.... We as human beings are attracted to shiny things. We like cool flashing lights. We like things that turn and twist and flip and flop.... ...until we are looking for something! Once we are looking for something, get out of my way! Move the lights and flashy graphics and give me CONTENT. I have personally accused so many sites in the past as having not enough "flair"...<beginning to remind myself of Office Space> However, I usually said that about sites that had nothing I needed.... ...at the time at least. ...then later, when I saw them again and was flooded with rich content and a lot of it, I changed my tune. Where was I today?........anyway, I was somewhere today looking at a advertisement for some product and there was a statement associated with it that said "The Devil Wears Prado." As un-related as it might be, it reminds me of exactly this scenario. Don't go out of your way to get super cool gadgety looking sites, because the best response you're going to get is "Wow, that's a cool gadgety looking site."...while the other guys who are flooding people's minds with content are earning trust and creating impressions of authority......and soon will get the sale. That is THE most important thing. Sorry if I got off track. Nutshell Version: Content Content CONTENT.
You need a TON more content...Google might also pick your site out as "spam" if you keep it how it's now.
