Hi there, On one of my blogs (link is in the 'latest blog post' feature above) I am having some trouble making simple layout changes. I'm not sure if this is due to the fact that the template is locked for editing, or whether I am looking in the incorrect place... When in the Wordpress admin area, I click on to the template and scroll down to the template code, but at the end of the code it says "If this page were editable you could edit it"... All I want to do is get rid of the Archives section (on the right hand side of the page) and get rid of the RSS bit as well. Thanks for any help
Whenever you find the error "If this page were editable you could edit it" make a note of that filename , login to your ftp software, and using it give the file a 666 permission after which you could be able to edit the theme file and remove the achive's section or any other code.
