Simple solution use amazon affiliate links related to gaming products [or any gaming related affiliates] and keep images in amazon s3 / any cloud system. So adblock can not block images from amazon s3/cloud system, and you will get clicks to affiliate links..
don't forget that google adsence doesn't approve 99% of gaming ads, but rather only few gaming sites only. I suggest monetize the website with an alternative by setting ad space directly or closeing revenue share deals directly with relevant websites, im a big advertiser and will be glad to checkout your site. good luck !
--> Hello i know this post is a month late,i don't know if you are still an advertiser but i do have a site with twice that traffic and was wondering if you still advertise
I guess a lot of people here are right, the traffic might not be real or high quality so Adsense or other ads might not work. Also try affiliate marketing and direct advertising. I would also look into monetizing the website with some sort of revenue generation / actual products, sell games or game vouchers or stuff like that on it. Think of the things you can distribute through to the audience you have and do not just rely on the ads.
very true, i have a site like that doing over 200k per month. Adsense doesn't seem to be doing that well. I think selling products / affiliate will be the way to go. Do you run multiple sites?
100K pageviews damn, you can try tons of ways to make money using those traffic. If Adsense is not working for you try affiliate products.
If adsense isn't working, I would try promoting some affiliate products. Clickbank have quite a few in the gaming niche, with different language options. Amazon also has a good affiliate program. Or you could try a few cpa networks, like Maxbounty. A simple email submit gaming related offer should work well. Alternatively, you could make a few teespring products, gaming related of course. Make sure you position them well on your site to get a good click through rate - search "adsense heat map" in google if you need help with this. Goodluck!
I have to disagree with you on this one. MOZ has some of the best content out there http://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/moz.com Bounce Rate: 41.8% AllRecipes.com is another great resource http://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/allrecipes.com Bounce Rate: 51.2% Heck, I can even use Digital Point as an example http://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/digitalpoint.com Bounce Rate: 60.6% I would worry more about how many of those 100,000 page views are actually legitimate, and go from there.
To add-on, I would go for Amazon or eBay products links on those pages. With that high page-views, those should be able to give you better payment if AdSense is not working. Depending on the niche, eBay may be a better return over Amazon.
