i'm not sure if this is the right forum but the rss forum gets 0 replies it looks like. Basically I have an idea and I'm not sure how it should be done(or with what) and was hoping someone can tell me what I need to do it. I want to create an RSS feed type thing for Warcraft III replays. Kind of like what's on http://www.wcreplays.com/replays.php except each new replay entry would be a new element in the RSS thing the way blogs are. But instead of just doing a blog I want to be able to keep the functions like public commenting, vote for ratings, number of downloads, etc. (and be able to keep track of IP or require an email or something so no duplicates). I think you do this with PHP right? Also, can I add blog-like 'tags' to the replay entries, like '1v1' or '2v2' so they are sortable that way? and is there a way to simply create separate RSS feeds for the separate tag/labels in case someone is only interested in a certain type? Could someone please give me an idea of what I need to learn/look up? If you could go into more detail and answer some of the questions that would be awesome but I really just don't know where to start.
Just like you would create a page with various results based on whatever parameters you like you can grab an RSS class or function and display results.
