Help - Best way to promote my Travel directory

    Hi,
    I just finished my directory, for travel & tourism related websites. I am currently working on display of some pages and adding a couple of more features.

    I am working on: SEO, article posting, social bookmarks, press releases, directory submissions (manual!), and a little social networking

    Would you recommend anything else?

    What would be the best way to promote my directory? I need some signups fast!

    announce your directory in major forums and allow members to post therie websites there. Also try some agressive social bookmarking. Reciprocal linking with some related sites can also be helpful.

    hehe thanks, but i was looking to discuss original ways to advertise/promote my travel directory!

    Or if you know of good places to advertise my directory, feel free to share!

    You can submit small travel destination articles to blogs, comment on travel blogs and publish to directories and social networking sites you can build a Facebook page and you can also submit to pliggme.com
