Just got back from a trip.... :) and with my Sony Handycam i shoot many videos of the place...

Now i have a 25 mins long .vob file with me...

There are few things i would like to edit in the 25 mins. long video .. like...

    • Removing Sounds at some areas for a few seconds....

      [*]Make the scene bright....

      [*]and more things like that...

Can you recommend some nice video editing software which has the above features to edit in a video....!!

I dont want to remove sound from the full 25 mins. video... i want to remove sounds and add effects in the middle on the video...

    Thanks in advance...

I would like to go with Adobe Premier.

But Ulead Video Studio, has also wide range of features. You should test both softwares. When I edited my first video, I was so confused how to use Adobe Premier, so, I use Ulead Video Studio. It was very easy for newbies. So, check Ulead Video Studio, I think new version 11 is available !

From my experience I would definitely suggest you the Sony Vegas or Adobe Premier.
Both are great and very professional for video editing.
but I must say that although the features Premier has I overall prefer Vegas.
the work flow of Vegas is much easier and faster and over premier I only liked the titles options they offer(easier to set titles on Premier)
so lets set it like that:
Premier overall a bit more powerful.
Vegas makes the video editing process much more fun and faster while not compromising on quality.

overall they both excel in their purpose: video editing.
but I find Vegas a better option.

    I hope I helped you.
