Hi everyone, I want to start a site, but the domain I want [keyword]master.com is already taken. Which of the following do you think is the best? [keyword]masta.com masteryour[keyword].com [keyword]mastr.com I'm sort of leaning toward one of them, but I don't want to prejudice the results so I won't mention it yet. BTW, incase it makes any difference, the [keyword] in question is a short, one syllable word. Would really appreciate any thoughts, and feel free to PM me with any of your threads if you're looking for some feedback.
masteryour[keyword] sounds good, but it really depends which is that keyword. because if your keyword is "porn" - masteryourporn.com doesn't sounds too nice :|
Wpdaily - I tried the -master option - no luck unfortunately. The only one that's available is [keyword]-master.org, and that's not very appealing imho. Nosfer - No its not porn It's actually a semi-serious topic - and that makes me less inclined to use [keyword]masta.com because it seems a little unprofessional. Any other thoughts?
Oh, and in case anyone's wondering from my nickname, the keyword in question isn't 'card' - I already own that domain
I realy couldn't make heads or tails out of your post. I know, you can't reveal what you are doing without somebody else taking it, but still.... Anyway, try the FM extension. There are also new extensions out there, too. Having a dot com or net isn't really that big of a deal.
Be careful about using a .org unless you truly are an org. Not knowing what the keyword is makes it difficult to help. If masteryourKeyword is taken, what about master-your-keyword.com or something like that? Good luck, Zeek
"Masta" sounds amazingly unprofessional and I don't think I'd be able to take any site with that in the URL seriously. Stick with real words. The "masteryour"keyword" sounds like the best option out of those.
