    Hi,

Please help I have a major spam submission problem. For about 2 weeks now I have been receiving far more spam site submissions. Its now gotten ridiculous, its only happening on 2 of my directories and I am getting a few hundred a day submissions that I have to delete emails and then the listing itself for. How do find out their info so I can do something in 'ban control'?

    I am running phpld 3.6.
I have visual verification switched on and the directories are paid only. Its ridiculous, please tell me there is a way to control this.

    Thanks,
    Steve

Below is an example, submitted just 2 minutes ago, I am getting a submission every few minutes. PHPLD should really deal with this better, all it has to do is only accept submissions that have paid.

Well not exactly a great response guys! The situation has worsened with a submission every 2 minutes. I have resorted to changing the directory to one that requires Registration before submission. I will advise on how this goes for anyone else who has this problem and may find this solution useful.

Ive had a similar problem but with one of my 2.x directories - half the time the problem originates from the same 4 ips address so i've banned the specific ip address in the htaccess file... this is the best way around the problem!!!
