Anybody able to help me out there? Here's a shot of my powerbook.

I took a shot of it with my camera, as when I took a screen grab it looked normal.

I was watching a dvd when it went kaput.

    Thanks.

Video card/chip overheated and crapped itself?
You weren't blocking the fans/vents while watching the DVD?

Fans weren't blocked but the powerbook was resting on a bed duvet cover. There was an additional heater on in the room as winter is approaching. The pb does tend to get hot each time anyway.

Would that mean a new video card, Kerosene?
