Help apache configuration

    This time, My server is serving more than 150 requests/sec
    Number request any time always 256 (up max).
    I want to reconfigure httpd my server to meet the demand, and work better
    My server infos:
    
    Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU  E5405 (8 CPU)
    RAM 8G
    HDD 2T

    I would suggest you play with your KeepAlive setting. You may want to turn if off completely, or, lower the KeepAliveTimout value. Is this a cPanel server? If so, you can use the "Include Editor" and add in the values. This can be found at:

    Main >> Service Configuration >> Apache Configuration >> Include Editor

    Then, you would want to open up the "Pre VirtualHost Include" under all versions, and add your settings:

    KeepAlive Off

    or

    KeepAliveTimeout 20

    You can play with the above number. You may also want to look into tweaking your MySQL configuration as well.
