Hey guys, this is gonna be hard for me to explain..

Well, okay I have a domain that is pointing to 2 nameservers www.yourpoolman.com

Now what I need to know is can I add a www.yourpoolman.com/blog wordpress blog in that without messing up the / directory? I have hosting with hostgator and I was gonna use the fantastico thing..

I tried to explain it best I could lol..

    Please help!

    Thanks,

    Christian

Now I think "domain names" would be the proper place for this, could one of you moderators move it for me? Sorry.. I think this is the wrong category.. If not you can leave it here..

With Fantastico, you should have no problems. Just tested it to be absolutely sure on my domain. Just put "blog" into the box where it asks for the install directory. Everything wordpress will go into that subfolder. Note that it will only work if you don't already have a folder named "blog".

AFAIK, you need to have everything for a specific domain, including a subdirectory like domain.com/blog on the same host.

the easiest since your designer is using his own hosting if you want to keep control of your blog would be to create a subdomain ie blog.yourdomain.com instead of domain.com/blog
