i want to withdraw money from my paypal account. i see there is the cheque and the bank transfer options. just wanted to know, what are the banks in india that paypal can transfer the ammount. and how much time it takes for the cheque to come to india. also there is a $5 fee on the cheque, so what is the price for the bank transfer for the available indian banks. thanks.
Paypal's Bank Transfer option is only available for US-based Bank Account in a bank in the USA and not those in India. If you are residing in India then your only option at the moment would be cheque receipt.
lol in my account i only have the bank withdraw account, $5 isnt that much if u have enough money in ur account
Eddy is right! I'd recommend you do exchange the money with indians. Take a look at the B/S/D section. And I've heard that you can try the service on xoom.com
an average international cheque takes about 20 days to come. $5 is the cheque procession fees, but how much is the cheque clearence fees. it says that i will get cheques in INR, but what is the ammount of money that will be taken for cheque clearence? thanks.
Request a cheque from paypal takes 4-5 days for processing + they take 5$ Then check comes after the status shows check issued in paypal, paypal converts your US$$$ to INR. The check takes 20-45 days to come to your address entered in the paypal. You deposit at good private banks like ICICI, HDFC, CITIBANK, etc the check clears in appox 4-5 working days. Since the check is in INR there is no charge charged by the bank. I hope this explanation solves your queries.
The exchange rate would depend on that's days Forex rate used by the bank which Paypal uses + 2.5% cross-border fees ( http://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_display-fees-outside ) . It is best to spend off your Paypal funds online if you do not want to lose during the exchange.
log in yor account and use money transfer by check and if u have good money in your account then it is easy for you to pay $ 5
Well, sadly this is not so for international check clearance as the check needs to be sent back via post back to the originating country for clearance and all that cost money and time to process.
