Never take advice from anyone who says this.

Do you already know HTML, and want to learn the latest features of HTML5?

If yes, try HTML5 and You, a series of video tutorials that explain all the new features coming with HTML5.

If you don't know any HTML at all, you have to start from scratch. One of my personal favorites is 30 Days to Learn HTML & CSS. Brilliant step-by-step screencasts to guide you from the basics to your first webpage!
