I promote clickbank products through article marketing. I get about 200 hops links daily and it takes up to a week for me to make a single sale. I am getting tired of this. I am thinking of putting google adsense on the site i use in promoting cb in order to make up for the hop links that don't result to sale which i get from cb. Is this a good idea?
how many articles do you submit day/week? do you their prem service? do you submit other places other then ezine? ezine would of course be the first stop, you have to keep going, and going, and going to other places to promote also...as i seen on another post, ezine takes a lot of the traffic as your article is not the only thing on their site, its also distracting as ezine has their google junk, and other links...adding google surely would not hurt, but you have to promote, promote, and promote for sure...and even then there is no guarantee you will succeed...i seen one thread where one guy submitted 5 articles/day, and hardly had 5+plus sales in the month he was doing it...but in the end, the build of his backlinks would benefit him then or at least help him somewhat...its a lot of endless work for a small amount of money...
What product are you promoting? Is your landing page good? Is your traffic targeted? You have to make sure what your doing is appealing to people.
Title is important when you use article marketing. Whether appealing or not? What benefits your customers will get?
Are you promoting more than one product? Maybe change your landing page around to see if it can presell better.
If you are getting 200 hops per day then its really great. You need to think about your landing page optimization. I get 200 hops in 10 days.

Actually I have been doing this from last 3 months and till now got 18 sales and 4 refunds. So it comes upto 4 - 5 sales per month. I do article marketing but not very seriously (25 articles submitted to EZA till date). Hoping to do this more seriously in coming month.
200 hops are not enough to leave the hope. Keep on trying, make some changes in your landing page. I am sure you will start getting sales... just fyi... When i started Affiliate Marketing, I got my first sale after 1 month of my efforts. So don't leave it halfway. Just my 2 cents
Article Marketing is the right tool to generate more sales without paying penny. I would like to suggest that concentrate again on Ezines that will really give you serious money. If possible try Google Adwords also with low competitive keywords. Make your url tiny and give the affiliate program homepage as your landing page and see the result.
In order for anyone to help you, we need to see your site and determine if it is an effective presell. There are lots of CB products out there that don't convert very well too. Is your presell page, and the niche in general covering a topic you know a lot about? Can you offer your visitors any special advice or knowledge that they cannot get anywhere else. But, the main reason for poor conversions, is trust. Your visitors have to trust you, and the site that you are referring visitors too.
