    Hi Everyone,
Was just hoping a few of you could give some quick advice on my blog. I'm very new to this marketing game and have just set up my first product review blog here - http://epsonsx218review.blogspot.com/

If any of you hve the chance would you mind having a quick look and giving me feedback on the following points.

    - Is the style of review suitable?
    - Is the SEO good enough?
    - Do I need to backlink this kind of blog?
    - Is the layout of the page ok?
    - Do i need more advertiising? Or the adverts in different places?

Thanks to anyone who has the time to help.
    MM

    Hey Magic,

Backlinking is always important. That is a must for any blog or website. You just have to back link to other review blogs.

    God bless,

I would recommend a different background but then solicit multiple opinions.

It is very dull right now. Not very eye catching. I would put some time in design or finding a theme that looks more attractive. Focus on high quality content. Sites like these are a dime a dozen and the only real thing that separates one from the pack is quality content and information. Content and information rule the world. Focus on that first and not marketing and monetizing. Once you have some good content then you want to get people there and the best way to do that is by creating backlinks, going after keywords, and networking with other people who run similar or complimentary blogs.

How about spend some money on a domain and some cheap shared hosting or virtual private server rather than using a free service. I asked a few people if they saw a link from Blogspot if they would click it. A majority of them knew Blogspot was free and said they were less likely to click it. Just my 2 cents from my research.

Thanks for all you help. I'll start getting back to it. Also say i continue writing in the same theme should I just use the original blog or should I use a new one for each review?
