Ok, I am reading lots of posts on here and I want to get into some of these affiliate programs.

I see alot of you are making AWESOME income every month, almost enough to quit your real jobs or not even need a real job.

My question is Where can I start? Im serious, please give me ANY advice you have and which are the best places to start and whats making you the most money now? I am at a computer almost all day long and would love to make extra money for any work I can do on the computer. Im ready to start as soon as I get some input from you guys/gals

I'd be interested in learning more about that myself.

You have to think, any ideas like that, where someone is now not working a regular shift, are going to be hard to come by. That would be like saying "hey, give me directions to your gold mine that is producing a huge amount of gold for you"

I wouldn't give away those secrets. I can say however that EBay and CJ are two good places to start.

That's just what I was going to say. The people that are doing very well aren't going to draw up a step-by-step for the world. That would just lead to every SEO (and wannabe SEO) competing against them, no one wants more competition. :)

Some things are simple... for example, www.sendwu.com ranks very well for 20 terms related to money transfers. That equates into more traffic and more affiliate income. So the "only" thing you have to do to replicate that, would be to get about 35,000 links to your site. :)

Other things that are a little trickier than simply overpowering the rankings engines with links aren't going to be as openly shared unfortunately.

The best thing you can do is just hang out and soak up information... If you do that long enough, you might figure something new out that you will want to keep to yourself. ;)

Yea, maybe Shawn will have a few too many (How many is that Shawn?) and spill his guts here...... not gonna happen.

Anyways, I think experimenting for a period of 3 months with an affiliate program will give you a good idea.

I would get confident in your abilities to build a site first, attract quality traffic and convert them.

Once you've done this for yourself, affiliate networks will be next on your list to research and apply to. There is no easy answer unfortunately and as others have mentioned , nobody is going to layout a map.

You can start by just reading some threads on areas you are interested in, be it affiliate marketing, social networking, blog commenting, you can find a product you would like to promote from the likes of Amazon, create a free Blogger or Wordpress blog with reviews of the products (complete with your affiliate links) and then promote the site, be it via article submission, social bookmarking, social networking e.t.c

You start begin when you take action.
Just pick one niche, then build your first website, write your first article then promote your site and build backlink.
Trust me, your effort will payed
