Create a opt in page and build up your list then promote. Thats the one way of attracting people and very effective one.
I notice you have no pictures in your hubs Try adding some pics from the merchant page, or banners or something with your hoplink it will DEFINITELY increase clickthrough rates.
People from social bookmarking are not really looking to buy anything, you have to target those people who are looking for your product or service...Marketing online is like making your product or service easy to find, not to push it in they face for them to buy it.
Free traffic methods do take time and they have do be done the right way. I've had problems a few months ago when I just started out. I was bookmarking every single article I was publishing withing my landing page (blog), even the ones I was submitting to Ezinearticles, which f*cked up my rankings in google. Here's what you should do : Try to stay close to keyword research and include long tail keywords with low competition in your articles, withing the first paragraph, body and the summary. If you don't have an idea of how to do it, then try looking it up on google. "How to do keyword research" and "How To Optimize an Article". You can use google adwords keyword tool for your research which is FREE by the way. Or go on and get a subscription for Wordtracker or buy SEO Elite. Write about 3-5 articles every day and don't forget to include your keywords. If you can write 5 then you should expect a lot less earnings .. write at least 2. Submit those article to Ezinearticles and GoArticles. Do not spam social websites, you will ask yourself in 2010 why google isn't indexing your site. Submit moderately, my best of choice social bookmarks are Digg, Stumble Upon, Reddit and Propeller. Try to outsource some articles, I can understand that you're just starting out, but your writing sucks, and it's understandable. Check out your competition. Steal their keywords, meta tags and watch them closely. You can even copy/paste their landing pages This is about it... However there are thousands of ways to succeed in affiliate marketing. Good luck
First off... I wudnt buy anything from a cat with missing teeth. Wait. that doesnt sound right! I wudnt buy anyting from a cat PERIOD!!
I would say same thing. already said. My conversion ratio is almost 25% for which i promote. also one thing try to get hot traffic rather then idiot traffic. asian traffic is really very bad, they dont buy at any cost that is what i have seen.
lol, yes that cat picture really grabs your attention, and it has no relelvance, either add a relevant picture, or just a simple picture of you acting natural..
In most cases, you need to try many niches before you finally arrive at the one that will make you earn some money. It is one of the rules of internet marketing that you should not expect good results the way you want. Just keep trying different things and you will one day arrive at the right one. Hubpages traffic is very targeted. The visitors you are currently getting are only interested in information and you have provided everything in your articles. So there is no need for them to buy anything through your affiliate link. This is why you should also have a mix of articles. Some of your articles should provide partial information so that the visitors would see the need to click your affiliate links in search of more information and buy the product you are promoting. It is also good you have some articles containing full information like you are now doing because this increases your reputation as an expert author. Try to strike a balance between the two writing styles.
