I think 250 x 250 px banner is common banner. You will easily find them on merchants' links. And then you copy them and put them on your website's positions for ads.
You can easily find the 250X250 banner for most of the merchants. If you cant then use the homepage image. YOu can use any tool like mspaint to edit and get the desire size.
