Yea, best plan I have right now is to wait until the blog has enough traffic to generate enough money off of adds to pay for its own domain when I make one. Getting a domain from the people who make the website creator I like to use which is about $9/month.

Welcome! Promote it enough and you'll start getting traffic and pagerank... Usually selling textlinks from a domain makes enough money to pay for the domain and hosting costs... But google doesn't allow text-link-sales, so watch out <-- that's supposed to be a winking smiley, but I don't know how to make them...
