I am newbie from Switzerland. I got interested in mobile web and I am trying to develop some mobile web sites...I thought this forum was a good place to learn and here I stopped.

Many thanks to all for the welcome.

Basically, I have never developed a website. I have leared about .mobi in October and got interested. I registered some names like a speculator and made some newbie mistakes...Thus, I registered some nice ones and some bad ones...Then, I realised that I missed the boat for the really good ones...Some peope hate .mobi, some people are very much into the hype. But, I tought this was a good opportunity to start with mobile web.

I thought that it was still a good opportunity for development and it would be more fun and creative ...Thus for example I registered ligne.mobi (in French en ligne means online)...Now with subdomains I can do jeux.en.ligne, or whatever xxxx.en.ligne...One project is FCN.mobi as "free community networks"...Find your wifi or free internet access through your mobile...

I am not in a hurry, it's a part-time hobby, but I want to learn how to properly develop a nice site, use scripts, etc...

Just beeing a member and looking at the forums here at DP you will quickly learn a lot of new things, just be careful.. it is easy to spend too much time here as there is no end in the amount of information that is usefull
