Hello everyone, My name is David, and I am not actually an affiliate myself. I am the "affiliate manager" for a very new social networking website, 5050biz.com. I place affiliate manager in quotes because I have absolutely no idea what I am doing. I have never been an affiliate manager before, in fact I am truly a computer programmer by schooling. However, as is the case with many small businesses just starting out, employees have to fulfill a diversity of roles simply because there isn't enough capital to hire someone for each and every position. As a computer programmer, I am quite used to getting advice and help from forums, so I decided what better way to learn how to create a good affiliate program than from affiliates? My first concern is how to actually get some affiliates in my program. I plan on my next thread following along those lines, as soon as I can figure out which category to post in.
