I've been here for quite some time now, but I never had the time to post my introduction here.
So here it is! I don't have a lot of things to say, but I design websites and love SEO. This place is mostly great to learn about them and that's probably why I'm staying.
    :)

Hello and welcome! You design websites and then what do you do with them? You sell them or do you keep them?

Mostly for myself and for some friends. Didn't get to a point where I am able to sell one yet, but I'm close :D

It's ok if you don't sell, I'm not advizing you do either!
Me it's been almost 7 years I haven't sold any, I keep them and monetize them, this way I have no headaches with customers (and no boss of course) :)

yes, I could also sell highly trafficked and already made websites without changing anything for the customer, but I have never been offered a significant enough amount of money. Honestly if one site can earn me $10,000 a year I don't want to sell it even for $30,000 I can wait, especially since the second year it earns me $20,000 and the third year even more :)
If you have a site earning you money, why sell it, so you'll have to work again to make another successful one? I don't think so :)

I see you have a tech blog, well it's fine since you enjoy it, but if you want ideas to make sites which will quickly get traffic and earn you money, think topics for the masses, not for technical people/topics.

I have some projects in mind, but have yet to have time to work on them :D
Topics like the Kinect for Xbox360 sounds great atm, it's new and it's popular.

I advize strongly AGAINST those topics. They are not topics for masses.
Think outside your own box. :)
I wrote a blog post about that topic and had it in my sig for a moment but I have replaced it. But basically don't think HOW TO FIX MY XBOX but more HOW TO PRINT A PHOTO or HOW TO SEND AN EMAIL that gives you an idea of topic for the masses when still related to something technical if you're really into it.

Thanks :) I'll take that in mind. It's late here, so I'll be going off now.
