Hello world! See anyone can write code :)

    Hello everyone, I am new here and figured I would introduce myself all nice and proper like. I've been working on web development since 1994 or so, shortly after I heard about this crazy new fad called the world wide web. I did a very brief stint as a web developer for a local TV station and then moved into military contracting and educational software development. I've done a little web development on the side, but I have never dedicated much energy to it.

    Recently I decided to attempt to monetize my skills and learn more about how to create a website that I can use to earn some income. My research and contacts has lead me here.
