    Hello everybody, I'm a SAP consultant but love everything about websites, internet marketing, SEO, etc.

    SAP is just one of application in ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) which basically try to integrate the whole business processes in a big company. It covers Finance & Controlling, Material Management, Human Resource, Production Planning, Sales & Distribution, and so much more other modules.

    You might heard of SAP competitors such as PeopleSoft, Navision (from Microsoft), and Oracle (yup, oracle also has it's application for ERP).

    It's quite interesting job since we work from both IT and business perspective. You might find more info at sap.com

    Hope it explain a bit about "SAP" :)
