My name is Jonathan.I have been a caddy in the Philadelphia area for 15 years.I'm here for help.I've been doing a little "soul searching" and have come to the conclusion that my life really is'nt going in the direction I'd like.I'm going to give it a shot on the net.With the ridiculous amount of people that are on the internet on any given day the opportunity to prosper is huge.Unfortunately,my brainstorm has only come up with an idea to get involved with dropship companies.It seems like an effective way to get started in an internet business,I'm sure there are others.I know this is going to be extremely dificult,but I'm determined to get it done.I have to.I have looked at the forum menu and it looks as though everything i need to know is right here.From web design , to marketing,to everything else!! I've figured out how to get a free domain and web hosting (kind of,I'm brand new at everything), I still have to figure what web hosting even is....lol.I know ,it seems crazy,that I'm jumping into this w/ absolutely no clue,not even a basic business backround,but at this point I have to .I'm relatively inteligent , good with people,and have a drive to succeed.I'm not looking to get rich quick,or even be a millionaire (though it would be nice).I am looking to provide a comfortable living for my self and family.I am really anxious to see if I can even pull this off!!It looks like everything I could posibly need to walk myself through this journey is right here.I love it,can't wait!!

Good for you. A bit of advise on the drop shipping thing. You can use one of the companies for drop shipping. Or you can find your own. I registered a company with the state, and sold some specialized electronics on Ebay. I had to be a distributor for the item. Someone pays with Paypal. I got a paypal debit card for my account. So after they paid me, I would use my debit card to order it straight from the company. Doing it this way you can get into a less competitive niche.

If you love to write, and are good and fast at it, you can go with bum marketing. Not bad. It sounds like you don't want to spend any money. If so bum marketing is the way to go. But most people seem to cap out at $1-2K/month. And it requires continual effort.

PPC, ie: adwords, yahoo ads, msn ads are the fastest way to make big money, but require more skill. You can lose big bucks if you don't educate yourself well first.

P.S. You probably shouldn't buy any e-books here. Most of the stuff is available for free. Keep your money until you are profitable enough to not worry about spending some.
