4k a months thats GOOD! welcome to DP!

 

I make all my income via affiliate marketing through my blogs and one website that's very 'niche' in a health related field.

Late in 2006 I decided to start help 'guide' others to find their potential via the internet. You can find a link to my about page that lists all my blogs in my profile. I will say that I believe everyone needs at least ONE niche - it's that niche that allows me to do everything else for pennies really.

Great job Gayla! I've been working from home on the Internet for 5 years now. We've got two boys 5/7 and one on the way. I've forwarded this thread to my wife for inspiration, hopefully she'll give it a read in the morning. She wants to do something on the web, but just hasn't found the right thing yet.

 

Well said - Sounds like you can do it (six figure blogger) and I think many of us will be menacing you to find out how you got to where you are now.

Yes, I mean affiliate programs.

It's taken me a long time to establish myself within my niche and to take that 'trust' and expand it out further into non niche areas, but I'm happy with the progression I've been able to make.

The things that I always keep in mind are:

IF I didn't pay for the information, I'm not going to make other people pay for it either

Always be honest - posting something that's not honest or not tried, is just wrong in my book.

I never build something up just to sell it.

I am pretty new here myself but I think you'll find lots of helpful people here at DP.

My only advice is to set a time limit when visiting this place...it gets very addictive.
