hello all, i am new to website development. i was just wondering if adsense and google search works well with database driven content. i know that from reading here, google likes lots of content, but since a database driven site generates html page by grabbing data from a database, thats not the same as static content right? so does would adsense work in this case? thanks
Yes, Google AdSense will work with dynamically driven content. For more on this specific subject, you can read Google's full answer about Will AdSense work with my dynamically generated website?
Adsense is contextual, so it works with whatever content shows up on the page whether it's "static" or pulled out of a database. An example is Wordpress - it is a blog software that is database driven. And alot of the big blogs out there use Wordpress and they are monetized with Adsense. A good one to look at is Techcrunch: http://www.techcrunch.com And wrmineo beat me to the punch with the good Google link.
Yep, works fine. It helps if your dynamic pages have search-engine-friendly URLs with keywords, not something of the form: www.yourdomain.com/?node=345&user=23
wow, what quick responses. i see that there are alot of people like me trying to make a living. glad i finally got off my butt and back to work during time off of my cubicle day job i am trying to free myself from! one of the reason i ask this was because ive read a user's exerience creating a site using a program called rapidweaver for mac. the user was stating that googe was trying to index the sites pages but since the setup or something was not static, it kept google from listing the webpage. i dont know the details of the article so i figured and finally join this site and post a questions. thanks
