Hey all...just stumbled onto this Forum (I know, hard to believe)...I run a B2B site and looking for any insight into acquiring small business focused affiliates. Anyone have ideas? Edge
Try abestweb.com, it's one of the biggest (if not the biggest) affiliate community. They offer several advertising options you can use to get some awareness to your program.
Will Check out...but do they have any specific B2B forums that you know of? Seems most every program/affiliate is consumer focused. Anyone know of PPC/SEM guys that push to business focused sites? We convert 1 in 3 off keywords right now, so we think we have a good, uncluttered niche.. Edge
Finding B2B affiliates is really tough. I've considered focusing on that space because I think there is lots of potential and lots of demand. The best thing you can do is your own research and very personalised email invites to sites that are a good match. All the affiliate forums and other advertising avenues as you said are filled with B2C affiliates. Best of Luck!
We have about 30 affiliates, but most are industry specific and lack basic SEO/SEM skills. Our site sells business credit reports at www.smartbusinessreports.com but we're looking for folks who understand the internet--not just the credit industry! If you hear of any good affiliate networks that start for B2B, please let me know! Take care, The Edge
