    1) That animated div layer that pops up on each page is annoying. Maybe it would be okay just on the home page, but on every page makes me really hate even being on your site. Also, if you are going to make something popup like that, make it bolder... Its already obtrusive to my experience, so if you are going for that route, use bolder, more attention grabbing colors. It's pretty pale now.

    2) Too much text clutter. You need to focus on the formatting and spacing of your content. It gives me a headache trying to focus on one part of your site. You do not need to show 30 tags for 1 post, that is over-kill and takes away from the material you are trying to present.

    3) The light gray text maybe too light, try a shade or two darker. Make your blue hyperlinks bold.

    4) You need more pictures and graphics to draw a person in. You hardly have any bold colors and/or images. These are important. On a side note: I make good banners, but they aren't free. If you have 75$ and you want a nice professional banner, let me know.

You are on the right track. However, there is always room for improvement. Find the right balance between text and graphics... and do not annoy your visitors with the div popup so often and I think you'll find more success in your future.
