    Hello All

Just wanted to chime in and say 'Hi!' to everyone. I'm a newb to affiliates, but have been soaking up the forums and visiting some of the big player blogs to get some clues on how to be somewhat successful. The first thing that I keep seeing are people saying.. to just 'do it' and learn from the experience, so I'm focusing on this aspect. I've created a few sites, and mixed them up with Adsense, CJ and LinkShare just to see what responds well. I'm super early in the game, so results are poor at best, but I've been seeing some promise with eBay/CJ affiliation and some small adsense action on one site.

Do any of you have any companies that you'd recommend? Specifically in the global sense. I know that niche marketing is the way to go, but are there any broad companies that seem to bring in a few clicks. eBay for example seems to be pretty decent and covers a wide range of interest. I also like their cookie life, but I'm wondering if I'm missing a similar player??

Also, I'm definitely seeing a mixed response to CJ. I've been a member for a month now and have tallied $40 in commissions. I'm liking the interface, etc but am quite worried about some of the peoples comments of missed clicks, missed commissions, non-payment and account termination. Should I truely be worried, or are these rare occurences??

Thanks in advance and look forward to participating in this forum.. it's an absolutely fantastic forum!!!!

    Thanks

I have to say I like CJ as well. There are so many companies to choose from under them! They also make it very easy to do reporting to show you exactly what you got the commissions on...much better then some of the other companies out there.

    Thanks,
    Jessica
