Hello, I have law class now, and we were talking about copyrights and patents a couple days ago, and I was thinking and I thought of a very good idea. (It is a tangible item, (not website related)) The target market for it would be hard to actually get it noticed, but once it is noticed, it should hit off pretty well. Some things fly, some things drop. :\ Well, I have this idea and I was thinking for the past three days of it, and I came to two ideas of how it would work, and I am going to mainly focus on one idea mainly. I am going to test it this weekend, I have some spare things and just test it and pretty much act like it was really a product and look at safety, and convenience and all that. But my main question: When you sell your idea (with blueprints), how much do you really get, typically. Now by all means, this is not a break-through idea, and I am not sure it will work, but it is a very good idea if I can get it to work properly. So, how much is a typical amount, AND how long does it take for the product to get accepted? Thanks.
