Hello, I have a domain over at halo2and34u.com it looks pretty messy but I could clean it up, currently it averages around 3500 uniques a day, just wondering how much I could put it up for if I decided to sell it. Thanks
I seriously doubt you get 3500 unique visitors a day, are you meaning unique pageviews? That seems rather high too... Unless you're ranking really high on several keywords that just isn't possible, and I don't think you are as you are using generic keywords. However, if you are infact getting near 4k unique visitors a day, you can easily sell for $xxx amount.
http://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/halo2and34u.com 3 month 1,255,174 - do you mean 3500 visitors daily?? impossible!
i am, I have some graphs, however i could have created them myself...i didn't and you'll just have to take my word for that, Visitors per day for 11/22/2009 - 11/23/2009 Visitors per day for 11/22/2009 - 11/23/2009 Date Unique visitors New visitors Repeat visitors Visits 11/22/2009 4496 4387 109 4890 11/23/2009 2705 2518 187 2936 Average per day 3600.50 3452.50 148 3913 the second point is a bit lower because today hasn't finished, all visitors are from search engines, well not all 90% are. Sorry I couldn't make the graph more llegit...anyway just going for an estimation. Thanks
If it has 3.5K visitors (Which I SERIOUSLY doubt) then its worth a low $xxx amount. I it has what I'm assuming (no traffic) its worth less than reg fee. I can only imagine trying to explain to somebody how you spell the domain Me: "Now thats a for with a 4" Guy: "Dude? what?" Also, many people would assume the domain is "halo 2 and 34 u" at first glance, and watch out for the "Halo" trademark, as it may be in violation and could cost you a lot more than what the domain is worth. EDIT: You should be on the Guinness Book of World Records I didn't think it was possible to get 3150 (90% of 3500) unique searchers a day from a PR1 domain with less than 60 links. If you arn't lying about this, then dude, ring up Guinness and tell them you've broken a record! You'll get a lot more than what the domain is worth! Highest traffic from search engines with a PR1 domain. I'd say you have trashed anybody who has a record like that.
I'm not lying...for some reason the graph isn't showing, plus you don't have to tell someone the domain name when they find you off search engines as 90% of my traffic is found, plus getting 3.5k visitors isn't hard to do if you target the correct keywords, 70% of my traffic comes to one of my pages that doesn't have any pr or backlinks at all, yet it ranks number one in google for the search term...its all about trust i guess, anyway I will try to put some graphs in to show you guys... just added the image, can you see it? Sorry it isn't more legit...i guess I could show you my adsense stuff but I don't feel like taking the time in blotching out all the stuff
3.5k traffic? I'd suggest you to not use a static html template but a script like wordpress. Site w/ traffic -> low-mid $xxx Site w/o traffic -> reg fee - low $xx Good luck
Lol, dude, I'm being very serious here, if you are getting 70% of your traffic (2450/uv/day) to a page with no links (which means no marketing) by just picking good keywords, then you should fill out this form: http://www.guinnessworldrecords.com/register/register.aspx?existing=0 I'm not playing around, fill out the form and make a ton of money, then maybe you can teach us how to pick keywords that generate 2450/uv/day to pages with no links? Seeing as the highest appraisal you've got is mid $xxx, you'd probably be better off sticking a few ads on the website, and making approx. $4/1000 UV which is $8/day which would bring in $2920/year
#2 for fable 2 gargoyles, not bad. If your income is steady, then some people will value the site at monthly income x 12/24 months. But that would depend on how steady the traffic and income is. Cheers James
@sudo- Yes my traffic is at this level now however it will probably drop to only 1k uniques a day after 3-4 months, however I'm not complaining since I made it in about 30 minutes. As for the conversion you created, I wish mine were that good, however because of the nature of my website my CTR and CPC are not very good...thanks for your interest, and the form!
Yeah Tattos that is one of my better visits/time spent pages on my website I need to focus on getting higher CTR rates because currently they are extremely low, do you guys have any suggestions, by the way, how did you find out where I was ranking, is there a tool out there? THanks again for your guys estimations, great help as always!
From what I can see, I would pay about $3,000 for a site with similar statistics to this one. But I would need to see some more stats to make a more accurate prediction as to what I would pay. It looks great. Keep posting.
Alexa is sometimes a funky tool, as an example. One of my sites has a 3 month average Alexa of "837,282". Over the last 3 months (according to Analytics) it got between 250 and 460 visits a day and did between 700 and 1500 pageviews a day. Alexa says yesterday its rank was "1,387,547" and Analytics says it got 356 visits and 1052 pageviews. Another one of my sites has a 3 month Alexa rank of "23,260". Over the last 3 months (according to Analytics) it got between 8,500 and 12,500 visits a day and did between 63,000 and 91,000 pageviews a day. Alexa says yesterday its rank was "27,513" and Analytics says it got 11,500 visits and 78,000 pageviews. The OP's Alexa says his 3 month average is "1,200,900" and yesterday it was "785,418". So this looks like the site has recently started getting more traffic. So if 1,052 Pageviews in one day ranks "1,387,547" and 78,000 pageviews ranks "27,513". How many Pageviews does it take to rank "785,418"? (Obviously more than 1,000) Unfortunately, in order to get the best price for the site, it will need to prove itself by having steady traffic and income for at least 6 months, not just a "spike" in traffic and income. Cheers James
yeah I stopped working on it for a few months so if flat lined at about 1k visitors a day, then about a week ago I started writing again and it went up to, now 8k a day. Your right I have to try to make this constant.
