Hello how to EDIT PHP configuration on OWN Dedicated SERVER

    hello friends when i trying to install vbulletin 3.7.1 i m getting this error

    vBulletin 3.7.1 requires that the MySQL functions in PHP be available. Please ask your host to enable this.


    can anyone tell me how to configure this??? i m having my own server so i have do it by myself! plz help me!

    Find your php.ini and do it yourself. If you know you don't have experience with Linux pay a server admin to help you out with your server.

    Upload the phpinfo page to your domain.. you will get the path of your php.ini file from phpinfo page.

    can you please copy/past the error when you try to install vbulletin, this message you posted sounds a bit strange to me :)
    I can fix this problem for a small fee, pm if you are interested.

    You probs just din't install the php5-mysql package or 4 if running php4.

    It's probably best if you just ask the hosting admins to do that. It's possible you don't have the permissions to do that.

    P.S. joe rulez them all :p
