If you put a professional logo and some graphics into the header the site will look much more professional.
I like it a lot, espically all of the ads surrounding the article, I actually think that, that goes good with this kind of blog. Get a professional banner and you'll be set.
the overall blue is boring! try more wordpress themes! Get a feedburner.com and mybloglog.com account! Make sure to categorize well and make use of tags. Use SEO Plugins for wordpress! (the one that allows your to enter title, meta desc and meta keywords for each post, i forgot it's name)
Maybe, dress it up a little. Ad a header that is eye catching and put a few random pic's on the page. Just a little to much blue for my tastes, but other than that... Great Job!!
I agree with the other poster, a bit. I think the google ads on the left are a bit much... perhaps you could put something else there - maybe links or a simple jargon buster of terms for financial terms. I thiink you should move the blogroll from the top right to somewhere further down the right side fo the page, and bring the pages, categories and archives to top. Perhaps an image on the page would break up the all text feel. All in all, a good site.

Well honestly i didn't like it. I think the font and background needs to be two diffrent colors. There was to much info on the page and just too cramped. It needs a total makeover. But i think it can be a very nice website when its done.
load times are fine and design is nice, fresh and simple for a blog. Two things I would change would be the text ads - I would make them into image ads. Secondly, the header of the page looks a bit bland, put some sort of image banner there to give it a bit more life, other than that it looks fine. And well done for the www. redirect edit - the navigation you have on the right should be moved to the left side and switched with the ad, thats usually where people look for navigation and they might confuse the text in the text ad with the navigation since its the same colour.
yeah maybe put some more style into it. maybe a cool looking web 2.0 skin. theres plenty of nice looking free ones. yeah you really should tone the ads down a notch too
