The very first thing to edit the sitemap file you need the admin access to the website.
If your website is in WordPress then it is to edit it after logging in to the admin panel. But, if it is on other platform or technology like PHP then you need the cPanel login to access those files or software like Filezilla.

Removing pages from your sitemap won't actually delete them from your website, but it will help search engines understand your site better. To remove them, check your WordPress for settings to exclude pages from the sitemap, or you can edit the sitemap file itself (if you're comfortable with code).
While you can't directly edit the sitemap itself, you can request your developer to remove the pages. They likely used a sitemap creation tool and can update it to exclude those specific URLs. Just let them know which pages you want removed and they can handle the technical side for you.
