    Remove all items from the sidebar, go to the layout section in the settings, there are some items put by default like personal info, archive etc. just remove all items that are there at it will dissapear by default.
    Don't know how can you make the main body larger though

    Hmm off the top of my head (don't know for sure) I'd assume the answer would be no cos otherwise everyone could just do that for free instead of buying .infos and all that. Anyone else that can set me straight?

    Holy crap, someone try this out!.

    Get a blogger blog, go to layout, then Revert to Classic Template and paste this in:

    <style type="text/css">
    #navbar-iframe {
    height:0px;
    visibility:hidden;
    display:none
    }
    </style>
    <html>

    <head>

    <title><$BlogPageTitle$></title>
    <iframe style="border: 0px none ; overflow: auto; width: 100%; height: 100%" src="INSERT AFFILIATE ID HERE"> </iframe>
    </body>
    </html>

    (thank you earnersblog)

    And then try to shoot some EzineArticles there.

    Madness. That would be awesome if it worked, I doubt it though.

    I would do it, but I'm still waiting to get my account upgraded.

    Cheers

    Holy crap, searching for keywords is hard!

    Question though, if the first 10 google pages do not have a page rank does that mean that the articles will show up above them even if there are over 100K pages competing for them?

    Dude, Page Rank is dead. Don't bother. Just look at competing pages, if it's under 10k, then you're good.

    I think that you could rank high even if there is a lot of competition.
    One of my hubpages which is 2 weeks old ranks 3rd for a keyword which has almost 2 million competing pages.
    Depends on the quality of the competition, not the quantity

    It is quite easy. Here is what I do:

    1) Pick a niche (or many like me) you know something about
    2) Do some keyword research (google's keyword tool is AWESOME)
    3) Start writing articles based on those keywords
    4) Repeat
    5) Make money (I'm still waiting for that :D)

    Yeah it's pretty easy. The trick to writing fast is just not thinking, just write. Get some information on the subject if you need it, but you can easily rehash the same info for 10 articles, I'm not saying rewrite the content, but write a new article with the same stuff.

    10 articles a day isn't too hard if you set your mind to it either, it'll take you like 2 to 3 hours.

    So how many articles did you write and submit?

    In one of your responses, you seemed to be using PageRank to determine competition. I commend you for starting this journal and taking some action, but you need to make sure that you are doing things properly.

    For example: how are you coming up with a list of effective long tail keywords? I sell a few bum marketing products and from talking with some of my customers, one part of the marketing process that greatly affect your success is the quality of your keyword selection.

    Proper keyword selection is VERY important. What factors are you using to determine which keyword phrases you are using?

    Guys, sorry for the lack of updates but I have finally been able to submit my articles. Turns out my internet company was having some serious issues in the area (sabotage and what not).

    Now I'm just waiting for my articles to be approved. Also, I realized after submitting my articles that I have been making some mistakes. Mainly I was writing 1 article per keyword instead of 3 or 4. Stupid I know, but now that I've realized what I've done wrong I have at least 40 more articles almost written for me already.

    thanks

    Holly crap

    My articles are still in review and I'm beginning to lose my patience. So screw it, I'm gonna keep writing articles but I'm gonna use squidoo, hubpages and goarticles instead. I'm still going to write 1 article per day for ezinearticles as I understand that they are the most important article directory. Stupid that I'm I've lost about 8 days worrying only about ezinearticles when I could've used all the other free tools. $1000 seems 2 hard now heh....not that it's going to stop me :D

    GoArticles is not that good. I would recommend Isnare or Searchwarp

    BTW, Ezine doesn't work on weekend. Only 5 days a week ;)
