    I live in Dallas Texas. I used to travel to Phoenix a lot, around Goodyear/Avondale area.


    When my dad was drinking, and I was a kid, I was always his favorite little bastard. :)

    Sarah, The problem is: the money only does her good if I can convince her to move out here where a median priced home is only $225,000 or so. She buy her and have money left over. If she ever sells there, she won't be able to buy back in unless she downgrades.

    Capebretoner, I lived here since 1978 and wouldn't move out of this area unless I had the money for a second home. Lots of good jobs here. I think our unemployment is one of the lowest in the country. AMKOR, is setting up shop here soon...

    Local Phoenix chapter? Sure why not! Can you imagine how quickly it would grow considering we are all about to be sentenced to 3 months hard time indoors?

    I'm an ex-Phoenician, well Tempean(?), myself.
    I miss that nice, dry heat.

    I use to mountain bike year-round when I lived there and I had some terrific "visions" when I ventured out in the middle of summer. Nothing like being on the verge of passing out from heat stroke. Ah, good times, good times.
