My name is Matt and I'm a forum-a-holic.

This is my first day at the meetings. I am hoping to get help for my condition as I am sure that is why the rest of you are here.

I will out to visit you soon! Hpefully the rain will stop in Myrtle Beach a day or two after I get there. Would love a sunny weekend there, but have to admit that the prospect of rain is exciting to me. After all, I do live in the Sonoran Desert. Thanks for the welcome Max!

You appear to be the only one who "gets" my humor in this thread. I was starting it like AA meetings start in the movies. I thought I was funny until no one got it. Glad to see you are thinking outside of the box. You'll be well rewarded in life for it. I know I am being rewarded for my styel of thinking!!!

One comment I have, and I hope I'm not flamed for it... I have been doing A LOT of reading of past posts here and am finding a lot of "noise". Why can't we all just get along? Anyways, enough of my fantasy world "utopian thinking" and back to reality. Thanks agian for the hello's... feel free to flame now.

 

Maybe it's just a southwest kind of thing, or it could be that in my anger management classes we're told to be more observant to others.

I was thinking of the Anger Management movie when I was starting this thread. Too funny. What part of the SW do you live in? I am of course in Phoenix Arizona. North Phoenix though closer to Carefree than downtown.

So is "retahded".

One of my five brothers lives in Boston, and some good friends of mine, Ron and Erica, just moved here from there where things are often wicked retahted.

 

5 stepbrothers, one blood sister.

Love mum! Super sad when they sold their home here (only 1/4 mile from my home) and moved full time to their "vacation home" on a big lake in Texas with 175' of water frontage, their own dock and boat, etc...

One brother lives right next door, one house over from them and his wife's parents live inbetween my parents and my brother.

Another brother lives in Boston as you have heard. Three here, one in Prescott, one in Tempe and one building a new custom home in Gilbert against the SanTan Mountains. Man is it nice too, he's on five acres abcking the preserve of the mountains so no one can build behind him. Only problem is he works in town, so he's got a lot of driving ahead of him when he moves there from Chandler.

My sister lives in Santa Barbara and has forever. She bought a home of her own many years ago. She is actually stuck in her house (which is really nice) now for life unless she wants to move out of the area. Homes by her are approximately $1,200,000 median, and that buys you junk! Condo's are median priced at $600,000. Suck-o-la! So, she'll have to stay in her current home unless she marry's a millionaire... which isn't much money these days, but enough for a down payment on a home in Santa Barbara!

 

I had better get "logged off" and start helping my wife paint. I've been catching up on things at work (in my home office) and now she has started painting our daughter's room, so I better go if I think I'm going to be allowed to go to Myrtle Beach in a week and a half to visit Max without her.
