    Hey, greets from Bulgaria,
how's the SEO business in Romania? I mean, do you have lot's of Romanian sites and competition. Here, in Bulgaria, there's no such thing as SEO (yet)

    heh. Just a baby here.

We have about 60.000 registered domains from which 30.000 are in use.

We have plenty of design companies.

No company offers SEO as their main service.

My opinion is that SEO is very different in Europe.

US is the biggest market. ;)

I think the problem with local country sites, is that they can't monetize traffic. So why would they compete? Almost no one advertises in Romainian or Bulgarian. Probably a site can sell something, but I don't think there's going to be too much competition over it.

USA is THE market :) Most of my clients are from USA/Canada/Australia.

    Allo mate! :)

    That's right - it's me.

As I think you know I entirely sympathise with your frustrations. Developing an SEO business in an under-developed market (compared to the US) is downright hard.

    keep banging-away.

People will realise advertising via the net is neither totally free nor totally easy eventually.

For my part I am doing what I can to crush such myths in Europe.

    Best regards

    Mike

I think there are lots of SEO programs here in Romania and also having big companies like Netbridge investing in the online market always helps
